What are the Benefits to joining DRAM?
DRAM strives to provide members with opportunities to grow in the
mediation and ADR fields. It does so by working to establish ADR as a
vital and cost-effective means of addressing a wide range of issues. Your
membership enables DRAM to:
▪ Increase public
knowledge and use of your services by:
- Meeting with business, government, and nonprofit
sector
decision makers;
- Representing the ADR field at professional
functions;
- Presenting at conferences and other gatherings;
- Publishing articles for newspapers, newsletters, and
journals;
- Drafting informational materials for promoting ADR;
- Partnering with organizations that value ADR; and
- Posting member contact information on DRAM's
website.
▪ Develop practice
opportunities statewide. DRAM informs organizations of the ADR services
available in Michigan and offers a referral mechanism to link conflict
resolution needs with those services. DRAM can inform you of opportunities
to practice developed through DRAM's efforts.
▪ Offer ways to share best
practices with colleagues through the DRAM web site. The web site's Members Section includes:
